Tintype Photos of Ghost Army Veterans
These extraordinary tintypes of four Ghost Army veterans were taken on February 2, 2017, by celebrated portrait photogapher Mark Mann with the assistance of the Penumbra Foundation in New York City. Clockwise from upper left, Arthur Shilstone, John Jarvie, Seymour Nussenbaum and Nick Leo. These hand-made portraits were taken as a way of honoring and remembering the contribution made by all Ghost Army veterans, living and dead.
